Jesus in my office

Hamid and John are two friends since a long time. They used to go to the same school and to the same university. They now work at the same corporation and even in the same office. Hamid is a religious Muslim, while John is a Christian, a protestant under no specific school.

One day, a disaster happened to the city they live in. A huge rock got separated from a mountain and felt over more than 50 houses. The next day at office, the following conversation took place between Hamid and John.
- Hamid: have you seen what happened yesterday?
- John: It was a disaster.
- Hamid: do you know that there are more than 500 persons under the rock
- John: Unfortunately, most of the them are still alive, and nobody could do anything
- Hamid: and the government are not taking any realistic action
- John: I wonder if there were a nuclear bomb under that rock, would they leave it?
- Hamid: They would do the impossible to move it in one day
- John: Or if the president’s family is under it
- Hamid: the rock will be vanished
- John: there is nothing impossible to man these days. Everything could be done
- Hamid: look at the pyramids, rockets, airplanes, trains, factories, genetic engineering
- John: they are miracles
- Hamid: we do not have miracles in Islam
- John: We have
- Hamid: Only in your bible
- John: You mean only by Jesus
- Hamid: what is the difference, Jesus is a man like us
- John: not exactly. Jesus is a man. Indeed. He is also God
- Hamid: that is hearsay in Islam. There is only one God
- John: Exactly, and there is also one man. (pause)
- Hamid: there are billions of men
- John: no, only one creation called man, you are a man, I am a man, anybody else is a man. We are all under one tree called “Man”
- Hamid: and how does that make Jesus God?
- John: He will be a liar who could tell you that he knows God. No one knows God, we just believe in him, feel his existence, and above all... need him. And no one knows man. man was, still, and will always be a mystery. But there is something we all agree on: Man is not God. Man is different from God. However, man is not the opposite of God. So, if we say that Man is a line, the simplest symbol. God could not be prospected as a line in an opposite direction.
- Hamid: Yes, I agree on that. Man is not for sure the opposite of God, but he is different.
- John: So, we can compare man to a horizontal line, and God to a vertical line. As we cannot compare man to a line moving from right to left, and compare God to a line moving to the opposite direction.
- Hamid: yes, yes, I got it from the beginning, but where is Jesus in all of that?
- John: Join the two lines together. Make a relation between the Vertical and the Horizontal.
- Hamid: an intersection Point will be formed.
- John: Here is Jesus. That Joint connects the two totally different natures together; man and God. He is a total man. You cannot say he is not. And he is totally God, you cannot say he is not.
- Hamid: you Christians believe that God left heavens and the universe and incarnated into Jesus.
- John: of course not. Jesus is the link between man and God. Jesus is a “Relationship”. A bond connecting man to God. Only through Jesus one could know God. Only through “Love” one could know God. Simply, Jesus is Love.
- Hamid: so when we say: “man loves God” we mean “ man-Jesus-God” ? as if Jesus is a way to God ?
- John: it should be said “God loves man” meaning “God – Jesus – man”. Through Jesus, God expressed his love to man. Through Jesus man could love God
- Hamid: but that also makes Jesus better than man and lower than God.
- John: look at the Joint in the cross. It is not better or lower than anything. It is a link. Without it the two segments will never get connected. Only through Jesus you will know God. Only through Love you will approach God.
- Hamid: by “you” you mean me or man?
- John: you as a man. It is man.
- Hamid: we have love in Islam. Islam calls for love. I guess most of religions call for love and believe in it.
- John: There are many kinds and forms of love. Starting from sex, motherhood, marriage, romance, brotherhood, all are love. However, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." The Lord came here while we were yet sinners and gave His life for us. (Romans 5:8) The Holy Bible says that perhaps for a righteous man one will die; but for an unrighteous man, none would give his life. God's love was indeed very great because when He came, none of us were righteous. None of us were good. We were all concluded under sin. Man was walking in the wrong direction, worshiping the wrong master. But He came and gave His life for us. There is no love greater than that. In the beginning, God created everything. He created the heavens and the earth. He created the firmament. He created all of the stars and the planets. He created this earth and all that is herein. And the Bible says that on the sixth day, God created His most important creation-man. Everything else that God created was created by the word of His mouth. When He said, "Let there be light," there was light! But the Bible says that God created man in a special way. He scooped dust from the ground, formed it and breathed into it the breath of life, and man became a living soul. (Gen. 2:7) And God told man, "I will give to you all of Creation. You will rule everything. All that you can see are yours. Here in the Garden, you can eat the fruit from all of the trees except for one - the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For the moment you eat from this tree, you will surely die." (Gen. 3:15-17) Now, all of God's creations are under the jurisdiction of His power except for one thing; and that is the power of choice that had been given to man. God did not invade our will power to choose what we want to do. We are a free moral agent. We have the power to choose! We can even choose to disobey God or obey Him; accept Him or reject Him. This choice was also given to our first parents, Adam and Eve. But what did they do? By that time, the devil had already been thrown down to the earth. He became envious of man because man had the very position that the devil wanted-inheritor of everything that God had created. So the devil said, "I will deceive man." The devil entered into the serpent. You know the story,
- Hamid: ya
- John: I believe that the devil is not a being in itself; it is not a serpent or a monster as in pictures. It is the opposite of love. It is an opposing force to that of Love. It is the force of selfishness, materialism, degradation, degeneration. It is the attitude of thinking in oneself only and positioning the whole world around one’s self. (pause) .. The devil has many forms. In the past it took the shape of a serpent.
- Hamid: and now?
- John: money
- Hamid: I agree, money is a very powerful motivation to man. The more money one could gain, the more strength he could have.
- John: Just like Love
- Hamid: I totally agree with you. There was a story about a bodyguard who used to have low salaries for protecting people, and he didn’t usually exert more effort that will cause him any harm. After some time, he was offered an un imaginable salary to work as a bodyguard for some prince. He found no problem losing his arm taking the bullet to protect the prince. See! That is the power of money. Then one day he was waling with his daughter and a gang tried to harm her. He, without hesitation, sacrificed his life protecting her.
- John: Even without a reward
- Hamid: Love is much more stronger than money
- John: but yet still money is a strong motivation and a severe enemy to Love as a motivator
- Hamid: but money is not evil in itself.
- John: It is the attitude of regarding life in a materialistic point of view
- Hamid: One should regard life from the “Other’s” point of view, With the attitude of Love. Please continue your story.
- John: The devil deceived Adam and Eve and they disobeyed God. That was when sin came into the world. Sin is disobedience to the will of God. Sin is the trespassing of God's law. It is violating the law of nature; the law that states that man is a “Part” of life not the master of it. There was a harmony in nature, everyone had a rule, and no one was mastering the whole, except God, The creator of the whole. Adam and Eve trespassed against God's law that day. So sin entered into the life of man. When sin entered, the devil knew that death would enter also. If sin came in, curse would also come in. That was how man was removed from the will of God through his own choice. Man was cast out from the Garden of Eden, and that was when the curse began. Weeds began to grow from the ground. Thorns and thistles sprang up. Animals became wild. The lion and the tiger became ferocious. Man was driven from the Garden of Eden because he had sinned against God. Man was under the curse. It was his sin that served as the wall of separation between man and God, but God wanted to restore man to Himself. But how, when man was sinful? It was then that a plan was made to redeem you and me back to God. It was called the plan of redemption! All men are born sinful because of the sin of disobedience that we had inherited from Adam and Eve. We cannot break free from this bondage of sin! We do not have the power. And so God made a plan to redeem man and restore him to the Garden of Eden. And He first planned to do this through His mighty and terrible power! In the Old Testament, God showed his mighty power many times and men trembled. They trembled in Egypt . They trembled in the desert. They trembled at the Red Sea . They trembled at Sodom and Gomorrah , but there was no change in their lives. So the destructive power of God failed to change man. Man still could not return to fellowship with God! So God made a perfect plan, which was going to be perfected not by force, and not by mighty power. He said, "As the devil had deceived man to use his freedom of choice to commit sin, I will come down and do the same. I will let man use his own freedom of choice to get away from Sin." So He came without our asking Him to come. It was a voluntary leaving of the portals of glory to come down to this earth full of sin and iniquity! It was the God of heaven, displaying Himself in vulnerability. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." He came and walked among us. The Bible says that He walked around the dusty shores of Jerusalem, Judea, Galilee and Samaria doing that which was good; healing the sick, letting the lame walk. Lepers were being healed. The dead were being raised. The blind did see. It was love in demonstration. He came to get the glory from the hands of the devil and free us from the prison wall we call sin. Jesus Christ as the Bible says, was like a lamb that was ready for the slaughter. He opened not His mouth. He remained silent, no matter what the people did to Him, He returned good. We fell into the ground, broken into pieces, but Jesus Christ came and lovingly picked up all the broken pieces of our lives and fit them together delicately once again. He wanted to create us in His own image. Not by means of power, but by the power of love! Jesus Christ needed to do everything through love. If He had made a single mistake and did something not through love, but by His mighty power, this salvation plan would fail! Through love, man would be saved! Through love, the Lord went deep into our hearts, into our spirit where sin has taken root! The Bible is not complete without the supreme story of God's love sacrificing for us. In his earthly ministry, false accusations flowed thick everywhere Jesus went, saying that He was an impostor, that He was a deceiver and that He was not true, that His claims as a Messiah were all false and that He was deceiving the people. That He was a cult. He was like a sheep going to the slaughter, but he opened not His mouth. Pilate asked the people, "What will I do with this Jesus of Nazareth?" And the people cried, "Crucify Him!" At that very moment, the love of God was displayed among men. He stood there, without saying a single word. He was alone. He walked through what we are walking through. He was human like us. He was tempted in all points as we are tempted, yet He was without sin. When He was delivered into the hands of the people, He was arrested. He was stripped of His clothes. He was mocked. He was reviled. His face was beaten. He was spat upon. He did not speak against the people. His heart was not angered. He gave Himself for the sins of men. They laid bare His back. He was tied on the scourging post, His back facing His tormentors. The Roman soldiers had a whip. This whip had tails made of leather. In the center of that leather was a steel ball. Attached to it was a hook with three heads. These three heads had nine tails. When these tails are scourged at your back, each of the nine tails would imbed deep into your skin. Your skin will split open as the hooks pierced your body, deep into your flesh. These 9 hooks, times 3 is equal to 27 hooks, when pulled back, would bring skin and flesh along with it. The Lord received thirty-nine stripes on His back. The Bible says that He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our sins was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. Hallelujah! They took a thorny vine called the Jerusalem vine. They formed this into a crown, purposely made smaller than Jesus' head. They tied strings on both sides. And as they set it upon Jesus head, they pulled the strings down so that the thorns pierced deeply into Jesus' head. The blood began to spurt from Jesus brow, flowing down over His eyes, over His face. Isaiah 53:2 foretold the passion of Jesus Christ . He said, "there was no beauty that we should desire Him." They took the Lord and made Him carry a big cross down the way we call the Via Dolorosa. He carried His cross bearing our sins, bearing our iniquity, the curse, and the debt that was upon us. In the courtroom scene of heaven, we were condemned to die because we had committed sin. But He came and stood before the judge and said, "I will take their place and I will die for them." Before He went to Golgotha 's hill, He prayed for three times and told the Father, "Let this cup pass from me." He knew that He was going to suffer. The flesh was trying to contradict the will of God. But deep down inside, there was a cause greater than the flesh. It was the cause of salvation because Jesus saw that by the disobedience of one, all have died; and by the obedience of one, all are going to live! The Lord saw this and so He did not mind the shame! He did not mind the suffering! He did not mind the cross! He did not mind the bitter cup when He saw the reward before Him. He saw you and me gathering here. He saw all of His children around the world that would come to Him by love. Jesus Christ said, "I will accept Your will. Not my will but Thine be done." So He carried the cross. When He arrived at Golgotha , the Place of the Skull, Mount Calvary , they laid Him down. His face was swollen. His back was wounded. His lips were cracked because of thirst. They took spikes that were about nine inches long and they began to nail the Savior. Every time they hammered the nails into His hands and into His feet, it was the love of God triumphing. Then His cross was pulled up. It was erected slanted slightly downward. This was calculated so that solely the spikes in the hands and feet will hold the weight of the body. This was the Romans' ultimate tactic for convicted prisoners to suffer. The Lord was crucified in this fashion for six hours, hanging between heaven and earth, suspended in the air. Medical doctors say that a man crucified in this manner will not die because of the loss of blood. A man crucified in this fashion will die because of the irregular beating of his heart. So I therefore conclude, that Jesus Christ died of a broken heart. He was broken hearted because of you and me. When Jesus Christ said, "Father, it is finished!" That means He had done it. "I came and I conquered by the power of love!" This love displayed on Calvary is the same love that is now drawing us to Him like a magnet. Nobody has forced you to come before Him! Nobody forced you to receive Him as your personal Savior! Nobody told you by force to accept Him! Nobody will curse you if you will not obey His words! You came to Him because you love Him. What does the Bible say? "Greater love hath no man than this that a man will lay down His life for His friends." (Jn.15:13) This is the power of love. It is that power that will deliver you from demon possession. It is that power that will deliver you from diseases and sickness. It is that power that will deliver you from financial distress. And it is that power that will deliver you from the darkness of sin. This is the power of love. If you ask me why I have chosen to love Him? Well, because He first loved me.
- Hamid: are you trying to convert me to a Christian
- John: do you believe that God is Love? If you love God from all your heart, and senses, and love everyone just like you love yourself, that will make you a true Christian by nature.
- Hamid: what made us start that conversation at the very beginning
- John: I guess you was asking me why there are no miracles these days, unlike the days of Jesus.
- Hamid: I can answer that; because there is no Jesus, because there is no love
- John: you got me,
- Hamid: a lot of good actions taken have been done in the name, image and system of religion and doctrines, but the ends do not justify the means -- whatever is done in the name of an institution -- a denomination, a doctrine of faith, or beast, will tend to be viewed as something done 'in the sight': Id Est for a religious or institutional interest, unlike what is done 'not by sight' --not institutional--, but secretly, for Emunah--total fidelitate/fidelity.
- John: you are becoming a philosopher
- Hamid: it is just an attitude, when you are inspired by it, everything become clear.
- John: so what do you think of Heaven now?
- Hamid: with my new attitude, it is returning back to the first state before we sinned, harmonizing again with God and nature. Heaven is a state of mind, an attitude of clarity, to be clear both in heart and mind. As clear as a sky.
- John: maybe that is why people think of heaven as if in the sky although it is inside them.
End of discussion
No Greater Love
You loved me when I was so unlovely
You sought me when I was lost
You showed me how much You really loved me
When You bought me at the highest cost

There's no greater love than this
There's no greater love than this
That a man would give his life for a friend
There's no higher sacrifice
Than a man would give his life
You have paid the highest price for me

You chose me when I was so unworthy
You cleansed me with Your own blood
You clothed me with righteousness and mercy
And You crowned me with Your steadfast love

Zeitgeist and the Soirit of God

Let's start with the very old mispronounced question: Why Did God create Man?
God? !!!
Man? !!!
Create? !!!
Why did X Y Z?
I don’t know …
And I don’t know what is that to know?
What is knowledge?
Books … all burnt
Language …… weak
Words …… all vanished
Wisdom …….…. All gone
Memory ……………… LOST
Experience ……………. Tabula rasa
Meditation
Life
Am I living? Or dreaming? ……….
Consequences..., results…, prove my existence
I act and react …
Myself
But who am I …
A moving body…. And something else … thoughts … well do my thoughts prove my mind?
What is my mind? I have a brain … not a mind … a brain that coordinates, directs, manages, administers, controls, and synchronizes my self.
But there is something else …
I can feel it .. I am not just a body controlled by a central processing unit that manages and synchronizes its behaviour …
I have something else.
I love … not indistinctly to survive .. I love humanity .. I love the concept of love …
I love harmony with nature and universe …
I give .. I share … I feel ….
I feel part of a group .. part of … a mankind .. part of a greater universal system …
I have a resulted feeling that … My body …, its existence is easily proven... is, all the time, in conflict with its contrary.
Do all surroundings exist for me?
Am I the ego-centric sun that all other planets revolve around?
That is the attitude my body tries to maintain all the time …
But, another attitude conflicts … another feeling declares that I am a part of a human being, a part of a universe, A part of a picture.
A feeling that I am not dictating nor determining my own life. It is already determined and previously drawn. I am just living the dream
Spirit
That is the Spirit..
The feeling that contradicts that of the ego-centric body that exploits everything and everybody for the sake of its own existence.
It is not created in me … (X) .. nor in you (Y) ..
It is created in us … in mankind … and only because of it …
We create … we build … we live …
And without it … we are threatened to be doomed ..
I cannot draw a picture, I cannot build a skyscraper, I cannot fly to the moon, or build a city under water, or dig a lake, or cure a cancer, or transplant a heart. …. But man can.
The spirit of man .. is the mind of us … we all share it … there is no X’s spirit, there is Man’s spirit …
That is why we all share the same ark .. we all share the same mind .. it is not just a controlling flesh named brain … it is a mind … for all of us …
That is the spirit of man .. the spirit of connectivity .. the spirit of God …
It also conflicts with another spirit ..
Also connects, also shared by all human beings … a spirit of evil … a spirit ruled by the anthropomorphized body of all of us … a spirit of the Material … a collective ruling spirit of materialism … ruling man’s life … but not in the sense of man as a human but man as X or Y or Z … identified … it is the ruler of the world in the mean time … the Zeitgeist. It is what Jesus says about in John 14:30 “the ruler of the world” … I may call it money …
Conclusion:
We have a body … shared by our species to form a system called the materialistic monetary system
There is also a spirit... Embedded in all of us … activated and utilized only if shared with the whole.. With the universe. .. I’d like to call it .. the Holy spirit .. or simply Love.
The question is :
Which force rules our life now?
Is it love or money?
Which is the Zeitgeist?

The Space (short Story)

The shuffle flied for 10,000 years before it reached the room. Amgad entered the room. It was dark and quit. It was space inside a bigger space. Amgad couldn’t get back to his shuffle. He cried and cried, but no one could hear him. Only he could hear his own voice, or maybe he just imagining he is hearing it. The tears prevented him from opening his eyes. His strong longing to go back to the shuffle made him detested it. “Why did you leave me?” Amgad cried.

Amgad cried all the night. There was no day or night. The room was still dark, and Black.
One day Amgad woke up to see a door opened, light came in. he got terrified at first, then he liked it. Light could let him see a lot of things. Then he slept, dreaming of light and thinking of it. He woke up the next day to hear a voice, it is scary, but his ears liked it. He could hear people talk. He could hear different sounds he cannot recognize. Then he slept and woke up the next day. He felt something soft, then he felt it flying, then he started to touch it. He liked it. Then he slept and woke up the next day. That day was so important all his visitors came together, and another two came with them, one felt tasty, and the other he didn’t like its smell, but he liked to smell it.
Days after days, Amgad could make use of his visitors. He used to sit with them all the day till he went to sleep. They taught hem how to think, how to feel, and how to express his thoughts they taught him to others who are like him. But he was not happy all the time. Sometimes he used to feel that there are another visitors missing, some ones who have not shown up yet. Sometimes, he felt that he is still sleeping since the day he left his shuffle.
One day he had a dream that there was another shuffle with someone else inside and landed somewhere near him. He woke up and felt like he wanted to see, hear, speak to, touch, smell, and taste that one.
After few years, it was a very important day in Amgad’s life. He woke up to find himself lonely again. All his visitors were gone. He was kept alone.
A far noise came into his ears, but he could not hear it, “I am sorry madam, but the fever affected his brain and all his senses, he is like a dead body, but he is alive, to him you are the dead, everything is dead.”
Amgad cried, everyone in the room looked at him, “He feels his misery”. But Amgad was crying because he remembered his shuffle.

Born Qualified (Short Story)

A stranger was sitting beside me in the bus while I was going home. He was speaking to someone on phone IN ENGLISH. His English exposed him as a non-native speaker. That made me concentrate on what he was saying.

The stranger in English: “I’ve just come back from the TOEFL exam; I think I did very well.” He pauses, “yes, I hope to”.” I will go tomorrow”. “I know it is a very expensive exam, I don’t know why do they take all that amount of money just to test our English!”. “Yes, exactly, they don’t add to our proficiency.”
He continues, “Do you know if I scored more than 600 in that exam, I could find better opportunities than just working as an instructor or a call center agent.” A pause, “I can apply for a resident visa and live in Canada or Australia.”
He looks listeninig to what the other party on the phone was saying, then he continued, “I don’t regret all my previous years studying my B.A. or my M.A., there is no need of my studies unless I speak English very well. Speaking English is considered a certificate by itself nowadays.
The man appears to get weak in speaking; he started to make some structural and semantic mistakes. Then he noticed me, and thought that I realized he is not a native English speaker. So he started finishing his call. “Honey, I have to go now, we can continue after I return home, I will open my messenger at eleven. I really enjoyed practicing speaking English with you. That is very helpful my dear.” “I love you too”.
Then I realized that he is faking up the whole conversation, just to improve his English. The question is “WHY”? Why knowing “some language” is considered a qualification. I felt urged to open a conversation with that guy. Of course I had to talk in my mother tongue so that people around us wouldn’t recognize us.
- “hello”, I said
- The man looks surprised and suspicious. “hi!”
- “May I have a little conversation with you?”
- Still looks suspicious, “ok”
- Where are you working in?
- I am a mathematician
- Mathematics, it is a beautiful language
- What do you mean?
- I have noticed you speaking in English, just to improve your English, why?
- Because It is the trendy language, everyone should speak in English
- It is beautiful to learn a language common by the majority of people, to facilitate communication, but…..
- It is not about communication, it is about getting a decent job
- Really!
- I work in a school, a mathematics teacher, with a masters degree in mathematics, and a post-graduate diploma in teaching and education, and I get paid a really funny salary.
- So you want to change your career?
- I search for jobs everywhere, only multinational corporations pay you high salaries.
- You are right, I work in one
- You know why?
- No, please tell me.
- Simply because they are ruled by the leaders of the world. By countries who divided the world’s fortune amongst themselves, and gave you and me the remaining.
- These countries are ruled by one big country called the U.S, which is simply leaded by corporations.
- Maybe you are right, back during imperialism; only those who learn the language of the imperialist are those who could find rewarding jobs by the ruling systems.
- Systems are found to search and find resources, and them divide them on those who have power.
- But there are rules and laws. Those who work hard are getting rewarded.
- You think. You can just look at all those who work low-paid salaries, and see how much effort they exert at their jobs.
- So, it is not a matter of how much you work, or how many certificates you have.
- Yes, it is simply, what is your nationality.
- That is racist.
- No it is not. Please go on with me
- Ok
- Who invented technology?
- The west
- Who get benefited from it?
- Well … everyone
- On the profit level
- I think the companies that sell such technology
- Which are ….. ?
- Western companies
- Good
- But technologies benefit us as well.
- How?
- It makes our life easier, and it facilitates communication between human beings, making the world one small village.
- The man laughs hysterically, “are you kidding me?” that is the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard.
- Sorry?
- First of all technology is a product you actually don’t need, but you buy so that others becomes more powerful and more rich. Simply, everything you have, anything you buy rather than those who satisfy your basic needs, are junk you actually don’t need, but they make you think that you need”
- That is so naïve of you, such corporations build economies
- Economy is a game, not everyone wins in it. Only those who set its rules win
- These companies help our countries become more rich and powerful.
- Country? The country spends such money on three things only: authority, people who have the right to dictate your life. And the army, which have to always buy old technologies from those companies who paid the money from the very beginning. And finally, on roads and bridges, to help you got to your job in time.

- Dear, these are not called jobs, these are slavery, they enslave you for money, just when you have you spend on trivia’s they sell you. So finally, you work for free, just to increase their power. In fact they give you nothing. Their jobs offer no security, nor authority, nor freedom. Above all, they make you salesman, whose main target is to sell what your fellows don’t need to increase their profit.
- What about communication? Thanks to transportation you can go to anywhere in the world just in few hours, doesn’t that worthy the money paid for?
- Be honest, how many times have you traveled abroad?
- Never
- Why?
- Shamefully looking, because I am a citizen from a third world country
- What if you have a sign in your passport that says A U.S. CITIZEN
- The whole world will be opened to me
- Is not that racism
- It is indeed

Hobo (Short Story)

Everyday he wakes up by the dawn, his work at the bank is far away from his home. There is no time to say goodbye to his wife. There is no time to have his breakfast. And what if there is time for both, everything will be in a hurry, no amusement, no feelings, just a filling of a habit. It is a long way to the bus station, and a long journey to work, everyday. It is like every journey in life, it changes. But this journey changes him from a man into a machine. During the journey he starts to turn to be like a cog, has no purpose but to take some papers at the end of each month. He likes to call them, magic papers, because they have the ability to disappear within days. His only amusement was sleeping. He hates getting up too late and going to bed too late.

After years of working, he finally could get a loan to buy a comfortable car to go to his work, and, considering himself a lucky man, he could also get another loan to buy a house near his work. Thanks, to the new house and car, his journey to work is easier, but the magic papers are getting more powerful, they last shorter and shorter.
His wife is a very beautiful woman, because she is a magazine reader, she spends her paper in everything that makes her look pretty, because her work obliges her to be beautiful. She is a receptionist, and she has to be a representative of a beautiful institution. She knows deep inside her that a company hiring people according to their outside appearance is a superficial company. She knows that deep inside her she is not that beautiful, just like her company. But, she is satisfied that the company is helping her to remain beautiful, without her magical papers she won’t be able to afford buying all these cosmetics and chemicals.
When there is time for the couple to meet, they argue about one thing, what to subtract the rest of our numbers in? most probably they settle on one thing, insurance and junk. Like everyone living in this modern life, they spend their numbers on noting but these things: a car to go to the corporation, a house near the corporation, a loan from a corporation, insurance from a corporation, and junk to eat from another corporation. However, the only good time they could have is when they eat together anything.
All the time, they thought they had an important rule in life, he is a banker and she is a representative of one of the biggest companies in the world. Only when that day came, when the wife was going to her job, her vital and important job, she was hit by a car, ironically it was the car of her boss, she died at once, but her company went on that day, exactly the same way it used to run on the other days.
The husband knew what happened to his wife. He realized something funny, something that no one could realize unless something strong let him wake up from that hypnosis he is living at. “I am a slave to money” the man realizes. I am losing my like for papers and numbers, big numbers and big papers, but there is no time nor health to enjoy them, and even when I buy things to get happy, I lose this happiness in queues, reservation, prices, time, expiration dates, taste,.etc. there is nothing called a “Joyful product” in fact, MONEY CANNOT BUY HAPPINESS. Even if you think that you work so that you could have a value. You will die as well as your so-called value.
The man asked himself: “now what to do? I bought the car and the house for the job, not for my family, and for these two things I have to work everyday all the time so that I could keep them, for my master to enslave me. I will go, I don’t need anything from my corporation, they can keep the house, they can take the car, I am happy there is a last resort to man to regain his freedom; I CAN become a hobo. Only those who can could survive. As long as you are satisfied with simple things, you will live happily, because happiness lies in simplicity.

Free water for all (short story)

One day a white man came into a village, or a forest. People there was living a very simple life, they were like children, or like animals. Yet, they had their values, rules that control and dictate their existence, Rules that were put by SOME of them. That is the meaning of a rule; to make sure that there is order for the sake of the most, in case that the most case is in the favor of those who put the rule.

The white man had his own rules too, his rules made him appear like more sophisticated, more human, and more grown up. However, when he is seen alone he acts as childish as the villagers. But nobody sees him alone, even he himself has never seen himself alone before. That is why he believe he is better, because he is always under the spot, always busy. He is not as instinctive like the villagers because he doesn’t let himself to have the time to be like them.
The river used to pass by the village everyday, new waters pass by without getting bored. Maybe the river doesn’t think, but the villagers worship it, although they think. Maybe they don’t find it a problem, because to them the worshiped shouldn’t necessarily be a thinker. It is enough to be powerful and satisfier. Thousands of years ago, the river used to grant them clean water to drink and wash and grow their animals and plant. And on some occasions when the river gets angry, because of the sins the villagers commit, it stops delivering its water. So, they pray and ask for it, couple of months, and the water comes again. The villagers got happy and thank their god, river.
It was that day, when the villagers drank from the river, and all of them got sick from the water. It tasted funny, and disease began to prevail between the villagers. They all asked what happened to the water. No one could answer. Only, when the white man delivered his speech, everyone knew what happened.
The white man: “fellow villagers, for the sake of you people, I have seen your miseries, your ignorance, your unemployment, and decided to help you, a new project that will change the image of your village. I know you have nothing to do, your time pass in vain. That is why I decided to build a new project for you, A mining factory to extract oil from the river. You have a real treasure under your running river. I dag and oil came to the surface. You need oil for your kids, you need it for investment, you need it for communication, and you need it for power and security. That is why I decided to open the new factory by your river, to give you all jobs, so that you can all afford to buy CLEAN WATER.
